Hintertuxer Oktoberfest 2026

What's it about?

This year again, the Hintertuxer Oktoberfest and the Almabtrieb (cattle drive) from the Bichlalm will take place on the last weekend in September - a true piece of Tux tradition! Far beyond the national borders, the Hintertuxer Oktoberfest is associated with a farmer's market, traditional crafts and Tuxer cuisine. Good entertainment and a great atmosphere with various music groups are guaranteed in the festival tent this weekend. The highlight of this traditional festival is the Almabtrieb from the Bichlalm, which is one of the most beautiful in all of Tyrol. Top groups from near and far will again provide good cheer, music, dance and atmosphere.
