On the Waterfall Trail in Tux

What's it about?

The Tux waterfalls plunge foaming into the valley: rock basins, natural rock bridges, caves, gorges and the protected Schraubenwasserfall (screw waterfall) make us marvel and find peace! With a view of the beautiful Kesselfall, we start our "Nature Watch Tour" up to the Schraubenwasserfall. On a narrow path we cross the rustic forest and pass the so-called "Walfischmaul" (whale's mouth), a split block of stone that has the shape of a fish's mouth. The highlights of the hike are the imposing gorge and the beautiful valley basin on Waldeben. From there we descend comfortably back to the valley station of the Gletscherbahnen in Hintertux.
