Halslspitz and Rastkogelseen

What's it about?

We take a taxi from Lanersbach to Geiselalm (1,996 m), a rustic alpine hut in the rear part of this beautiful valley basin. From here we hike to Geiseljoch with a short detour towards Nafingalm, where the mountain path towards Halslspitze (2,574 m) begins. After a rest at the panoramic summit, we continue over the Nurpensjoch to the idyllic Rastkogelseen. From here, the hiking trail leads us back to Geiselalm. Since the partial solar eclipse is particularly beautiful to see from Halslspitze, we are doing a special tour on August 12th with special binoculars for this special event. Please bring a headlamp, warm clothing and drinks for the solar eclipse!
