Weitental: Valley of Idylle & Floral Splendor

What's it about?

After a short gondola ride to the Sommerbergalm, our exciting tour begins. The first section leads us up an adventure trail of the Tux Worlds. We leave this and already see the Tuxer-Joch-Haus, which offers great views of the surrounding mountains. From the mountain hut, we descend into the idyllic Weitental, which has a lot to offer. In addition to the many colorful alpine flowers, a large marmot team inhabits the valley. We will surely be able to observe them eating, playing, or sunbathing. Another highlight is the gorge at the end of the valley. The hiking trail accompanies the stream, which digs deeper and deeper into its bed and plunges over the Schleierwasserfall into the depths. From the waterfall, we comfortably return to Hintertux through alpine pastures and sparse mountain forest.
