What's it about?

The idyllic Stilluptal is famous for its waterfalls. Since summer 2022, there has been a new, comfortable hiking trail off the main road – the Wasserfallweg (Waterfall Trail). It's not named that for nothing, as romantic wild streams cross the path several times. We take the hiking taxi to Gasthof Wasserfall. This is located directly on the Stillupp reservoir, which we first hike along and then follow the stream over picturesque alpine pastures. One of them is directly at the Stillupperhaus, where the Erwin Aschenwald bench is located. After a leisurely stop at the Grüne Wand-Hütte, we take the hiking taxi back to Mayrhofen.
