What was Alpbach like in the past – and what makes the village so special today? On this circular hike, you will delve step by step into the history of the village and get to know Alpbach from a new perspective. The tour starts in the village center. From there, the hike leads via the Neada to Inneralpbach. Along the way, exciting insights into the development of the village open up again and again – from the traditional life of past times to today's Alpbach with its unmistakable character. On the way back, the route goes via the middle high trail to the Weikart Mill. There, guests can expect a tour with a vivid explanation of the milling process. This brings to life how work was done and flour was produced in earlier times. Afterwards, another special place is on the program: the Brechlstube, a former building for drying flax.
