What's it about?

At Wiedersberger Horn in Alpbach, the new "Alpbachtaler Lauser Sauser" summer alpine coaster awaits adventure seekers, summer and winter! The modern alpine coaster starts at 1,845 meters at the mountain station of the Wiedersbergerhornbahn cable car. With speeds of up to 40 kilometers per hour, it takes two-seater sleds over two jumps and through two 360-degree turns over a distance of 1,000 meters and a height difference of 134 meters through the Lauser Forest. By the way: one of the turns is Austria's highest turn, 18 meters above the ground! The speed during the entire ride is naturally measured, and a snapshot is also taken. Photos can be purchased directly at the ticket office. Up to 500 people can ride the Lauser Sauser per hour – and not only downhill, but it also goes back up to the starting point. Everyone aged three and above is allowed to ride. From eight years old and with a minimum height of 1.30 meters, you can also ride alone in the sled. And the best part: The Lauser Sauser is available both in summer and winter.
