F I S World-& Europa Cup Para Snowboard Crazy Curves 2026

In 2026 (14.01. - 17.01.2026), Kühtai will host a FIS PARA Snowboard World Cup for the second time. The TI Snow team, together with the FIS PARA World Cup Coordinator and Bergbahnen Kühtai, has selected an ideal slope for the Banced Cross Slalom that perfectly meets the requirements of this World Cup competition. The FIS recently awarded the contract! Para Snowboard is a very young, emerging sport and was first represented at the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi. In this sport, only athletes with impairments of the lower and upper extremities compete against each other in a race against time. Athletes with leg amputations use a prosthesis when practicing their sport. A particular challenge for athletes with upper extremity impairments is controlling their balance.
