Fulpmes Blacksmith Museum Iron ore was mined in the Schlick, a small high valley, until the 16th century. Subsequently, numerous blacksmiths emerged, whose products were known even outside the Stubaital.A special attraction is the Blacksmith Museum housed in the Riedlhaus. The museum shows the development of blacksmithing and several original tools from the 19th century. Furthermore, it contains documents and examples of blacksmithing. A major attraction of the museum is the old Riedlschmiede with a grinding "machine" from 1812 and a forging hammer from 1836, which have largely remained in their original condition. Finally, the "Fulpmer Schmied" can also be seen, a wooden sculpture by Ludwig Penz (1876 - 1918), the pioneer of modern sculpture in Tyrol. The 4 hammers with the impressive wooden shaft as a drive can still be operated today with the hydropower of the Schlicker Bach.
