Best of S.T.S. & Austropop - Auf A Wort
What's it about?
Since 2014, 'Auf A Wort' has further expanded its repertoire. The band can now also be booked with the program 'Best of Austropop'! This features the best of S.T.S. complemented by a true hit parade of Austropop giants such as Reinhard Fendrich, Wolfgang Ambros, Georg Danzer (or Austria3), Peter Cornelius, Hubert von Goisern, EAV, and others. Songs by newer, current Austropop bands like Wanda, Seiler & Speer, Pizzera & Jaus are also included in the program — guaranteed lively party atmosphere! The band has already performed numerous very successful shows with this program. A live CD titled 'Best of Austropop' has also been released. The highlight of the band’s success story, which has been ongoing for over 10 years, took place on April 18, 2016, at the sold-out, legendary Circus-Krone-Bau in Munich — the venue where the original Austropop artists also performed! This event was topped by an open-air concert during the Augustini Festival Days on August 23, 2019, in A-Fürstenfeld. 'Auf A Wort' had the great honor of performing here in the hometown of STS’s 'T’s', Günter Timischl, with a much-encore concert at the fully packed Augustinerplatz — and this was also 35 years after the original release of the cult song 'Fürstenfeld'. This highlight was repeated in 2021.
