WED 23.09., 8 PM, Schwaz | St. Martin's Church EQUINOX The equinox becomes a musical moment of balance in St. Martin's Church. At its center is Heinrich Isaac's song "Innsbruck, ich muss dich lassen", which has wandered as a sonic shadow through music history for 500 years – from Johann Sebastian Bach to Johannes Brahms. The Calefax Reed Quintet, with arrangements by Raaf Hekkema, spans an arc from Bach's motet "Jesu, meine Freude" to Johannes Brahms' farewell greeting. Composer Daan Manneke continues this tradition in "Cantus Fixus", before composer Carola Bauckholt, with "Zugvögel", leaves the human tone to the raw energy of nature.
