Renaturierung Reither Moor

What's it about?

Renaturation of Reither Moor Reither Moor is included in the Austria-wide project LIFE AMooRe – Austrian Moor Restoration. The goal of the project is to better protect moors in Austria and to make their importance for nature, climate, and biodiversity visible. To ensure the long-term preservation of Reither Moor, practical on-site maintenance is also needed. Therefore, we are looking for volunteer helpers to work together with experts on small tasks in the moor. Planned activities include maintenance and renaturation measures such as manually removing emerging shrubs with pruning shears. When & Where: Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27, starting at 9:00 AM Meeting point at parking lot P7 Wildsee / behind the Waldbad Sonja Please bring: - Long clothing - Rubber boots - Gloves Tools will be provided on site. The work will be carried out under the guidance of the Karwendel Nature Park. Those who wish to help will actively contribute to the preservation of a valuable natural habitat.
