Church concert "Cantus - Song of Night" The Speckbacher City Music Hall celebrates its 200th anniversary this year, and three pillars shape the jubilee year: sacred music, tradition, and modernity. The musical anniversary journey begins with the church concert on November 7, 2026, which is dedicated to sacred music. With a varied program, the Haller Blaujacken (Blue Jackets of Hall) span a range from sonorous wind works to moments of calm and reflection, up to moving vocal passages. Together with soprano Annina Wachter, they perform "Glück, das mir verblieb" by E.W. Korngold and "Reptentir" by C. Gounod. The program is also complemented by works such as "Alleluia! Laudamus te" by Alfred Reed and "Cantus – Song of Night," composed by Upper Austrian composer Thomas Doss for the 180th anniversary of Speckbacher.
