The St. Jakob i. D. music band and volunteer fire department cordially invite you to the traditional forest festival on St. James's Day on the Sander Ebene.After the high mass at 10:00 AM in the parish church of St. Jakob in Defereggen, the festival procession, together with the St. Lorenzen music band and the St. Jakob in Defereggen rifle company, will move to the festival grounds on the Sander Ebene.Best entertainment will also be provided by the "Weizenbläser", the St. Jakob folk dance and Schuhplattler group, and for a atmospheric conclusion, the "Deferegger Adler". A children's program with a bouncy castle and shooting gallery, as well as the popular traditional forest festival grilled chickens and many other food and drinks, complete the festival.Admission voluntary donations!Tip: Before the festival on the Sander Ebene, a visit to the traditional market in the village center is worthwhile.
