Juse Ju
What's it about?
There are days when one looks at a seemingly burning world with despair, anger, or a drive to act. But these are often also days when one looks back nostalgically and remembers. And no, everything wasn't better in the past, but everything was different. Past and present collide in Juse Ju's new project "In jenen Tagen" (In Those Days). After the relaxed, battle rap and humor-influenced top-10 album "BAWRS" with Fatoni and Edgar Wasser last year, Juse is returning to what has made him one of the most important voices in alternative German-language rap over the past ten years: nostalgic, autobiographical time travels hand in hand with politically concrete, biting, sometimes satirical reflections on the present. But what reads like the recipe of a political singer-songwriter remains musically deeply rooted in hip-hop, not only in terms of beats but also punchline density. And since we are living in those days, Juse Ju and his crew are going on tour through Germany, Austria, and Switzerland again. Nineteen cities where Juse will, as usual, pour his heart and lungs on stage. Nineteen shows without playback, mobile videos, or double meanings. Live vocals, live drums, live mosh pits, live tears – simply life. Juse Ju's last tour with Fatoni and Edgar Wasser was sold out within 24 hours. Let's see how it goes in the coming days.
