"Wunderschön" continues musically in the tradition of the band's emotionally powerful songs and live moments that have made Der Graf and Unheilig beloved by millions of fans, before the band played their final act during a deeply moving concert at the Rhein-Energie Stadium in Cologne on September 10, 2016. Exactly nine years later, the curtain rises again with the announcement of the new album, the large arena tour, and the release of the first single, marking a new chapter in the remarkable history of Der Graf and Unheilig. Der Graf shares his thoughts on the new album and the comeback single "Wunderschön": "Like every UNHEILIG album, the new studio album LIEBE GLAUBE MONSTER is a concept album. I have had nine years to gather inspiration and creative ideas and put them into music. These are the themes and facets of my life that I want to share with people. My thoughts, experiences, dreams, events, fears, and emotions. Music has always been my language, and it’s the best way for me to express these. The album title felt fitting to unify everything that my new songs are about." Unheilig has always been characterized by a very broad musical range. From metal to pop, rock, ballads, schlager (German pop), punk rock, alternative music, and electro, all are reflected in their musical style. They have performed at Wacken and on Carmen Nebel’s show, and this apparent diversity is part of UNHEILIG’s DNA, which remains true in LIEBE GLAUBE MONSTER. The album will feature a colorful mix of fast songs, heavier tracks, ballads, mid-tempo songs, and schlager-like titles. All of this is part of UNHEILIG." It captures the wonderful feeling and gift of reuniting after a long time apart, sharing memories, feeling safe, looking into the future together, spending time with loved ones, and feeling close to each other. I believe we all long for such moments and feelings, and are happy when we experience them. After my farewell, I had these moments and this shared time with my family, friends, and people I hadn’t seen in a long time. Now I am also very much looking forward to sharing these feelings and moments again with my fans, whom I have missed over the years, and with people who have become important to me over the years but whom I haven’t seen as often during my time as a private person.
