Tiroler Adventsingen 2026 - Sing mir Weihnachten
What's it about?
For 60 years, the Tiroler Adventsingen has been part of the pre-Christmas season in Tyrol. For many people, it has become a familiar fixture across generations. When traditional melodies and Alpine folk songs are combined with a festive performance, the Tiroler Adventsingen once again becomes a special experience. Singers and folk musicians from North, East, and South Tyrol repeatedly bring a unique musical diversity to the stage. This year, in the anniversary year, the touching story "Sing mir Weihnachten" by Angelica Ladurner invites audiences to be guided by well-known Christmas carols — towards the nativity scene, the light, and silent joy. Participants include: Choir of the Innsbruck Music Gymnasium, Die Vielsaitigen, Brass Quintet of the Tyrolean State Conservatory, 3Spitz, Maschlmusig (South Tyrol), Singmazsamm (East Tyrol). Scenic play by Walter Sachers, Brigitte Jaufenthaler, Manuel Kandler, Katarina Hauser. Author: Angelica Ladurner. Direction and set design: Norbert Mladek. Musical direction: Peter Kostner. Overall management: Peter Margreiter.
