What's it about?
The twin brothers Josef and Jan Prasil, known together as Amistat, have begun an extraordinary musical journey that crosses borders and is rooted in an unspoken, barely explainable connection. Their story unfolds most impressively in their harmonious melodies, shaped by a complex background: born in Germany, with roots in Czechia and Australia, their childhood was a cultural whirlwind. The brothers spent their early years in Italy, which remained their home until school age. This phase laid the foundation for their musical diversity and brought a Mediterranean touch to their artistic work. Moving later to Australia expanded their horizons again — impressions from the Southern Hemisphere added depth and energy to their music. Their return to their hometown Rosenheim in 2019 marked a decisive turning point for the duo. Known for their distinctive harmonies and special musical connection, they captivate audiences worldwide. With every note, they turn the everyday into something lasting. A journey to experience live. After a groundbreaking year in 2025 with over 30,000 tickets sold across Europe, the UK, and North America, the brothers return in 2026 with new songs that showcase their artistic development. In autumn, Amistat will go on a major European tour, giving audiences their first chance to experience the new material live. Current album: "What We Are" (EP, 2025), Nettwerk Music Group.
