The Positive Futures Festival brings three extraordinary sound experiences to the stage: experience the emotional sound ritual of Raül Refree & Niño de Elche, the psychedelic desert grooves of WOMEX Award winner Noura Mint Seymali, and the danceable, analog Cosmofunk of Takeshi's Cashew! Raül Refree & Niño de Elche's 'Cru+es' is the reunion of two exceptional artists: Raül Refree and Niño de Elche, who shape the recent Spanish music history with their projects. Inspired by Rilke, Yannis Ritsos, Péter Nádas, and Ernesto Cardenal, a composition emerges from experimental electronics, noise and silence, dream pop, and raw guitar. This creates a work of emotional power—a spiritual ritual about friendship, love, death, and resurrection. Noura Mint Seymali is considered the most important Mauritanian artist on the international scene. With her powerful voice and her long-standing ensemble, she combines the modal sound worlds of the Mauritanian Griot tradition with psychedelic guitars and pulsating rhythms. After international tours and a creative break, the Vienna collective returns with the concept album 'Planet Odyssey 64'—expanding their analog Cosmofunk with electronic influences. Inspired by old synthesizers and vintage computer games, the six musicians create a shimmering universe full of groove, imagination, and joy of playing. An concert to lift off and dance!
