What's it about?
The Positive Futures Festival brings Outernational Music to Innsbruck and relocates international sounds to unusual places in the city. The focus is on artists who push musical boundaries, rethink genres, and refuse to be put into boxes. From experimental soundscapes and contemporary productions to danceable beats, global diversity meets an inquisitive audience. The festival connects international acts with local collectives and young talents, creates space for collaboration and surprising partnerships, and invites questioning conventions. Over two long weekends and in numerous venues, new perspectives, friction, and musical discoveries emerge. Come by to hear Innsbruck anew and immerse yourself in sounds and people looking forward. The festival pass grants access to a variety of performances across the city, which are always surprising in their lineup. This year, the festival takes place over two long weekends from October 15-18, 2026, and October 22-25, 2026, in a total of 12 locations in Innsbruck. Additionally, there is a warm-up show on October 3, 2026, which is also included in the ticket price.
