What's it about?
FRI 25.09., 7 pm, Innsbruck | Brux Triptychon, Body \u2013 Voice \u2013 Pulse This concert evening in three parts unites the composers Georg Friedrich Haas, Mazyar Kashian and Oscar Bianchi in a breathing triptych. In "Les Espaces" by Georg Friedrich Haas, four pianists on a quarter-tone piano unfold floating microtones that dive below the perception threshold and yet fill the space. Afterwards, singer Sepideh Raissadat inhabits the stage with singing and setar; in Mazyar Kashian's new work, Persian Radif and Western microtonality meet as a metaphor for diasporic experience. In the third part, beatbox world champion Adriana Nikolova expands beatboxing with complex time signatures in a new work by Oscar Bianchi and meets string trio and percussion. Body knowledge and score are in permanent exchange.
