What's it about?
Ak'chamel has earned a solid reputation as a captivating stage project. With their nightmarish costumes and hallucinatory "rituals," their unique sound – consisting of desert-scorched psychedelia, post-apocalyptic shamanism, and lo-fi ritual folk – is as distinctive as the physical theater of their live performances. As the creator of around fifteen cassettes, three vinyl LPs, and several cryptic VHS videos, their reels have generated millions of views. They tour regularly and have performed at major festivals on both sides of the Atlantic, earning them media coverage from VICE, Consequence, The Wire, and many others.
