IMAGINATION & TRUTH With the exhibition "Imagination and Truth," Kempten artist Guenter Rauch presents a selection of his works spanning approximately three decades. Those expecting a classic show or retrospective – Rauch did, after all, turn eighty this year – will be surprised: Rauch instead presents groups of works connected by their common theme: the exploration of perception, imagination, and reality. Figurative-abstract mountain paintings meet abstract paintings from the "Signs" series, complemented by finely crafted ink works from the "Abstract Calligraphies" as well as sculptures made from olive wood and local woods.
