What's it about?

The Helagunkis come from the Salzkammergut and were founded at the end of 2011 by Tomcat Tompson and Zug Max. The unique sound of the Helagunkis is characterized by the combination of two musical instruments from two different musical genres. 50s and 60s rock'n'roll with double bass and traditional local folk music with Styrian harmonica were combined. A basic concept that was very well received from the start. Meanwhile, not only rock'n'roll music is covered, but also Austropop, punk, rock, pop, hip-hop, Schlager, folk music, etc.... There is hardly a musical challenge that the Helagunkis shy away from. In their very own way and with a certain pinch of charm, every song becomes something special, and that always ensures a good atmosphere and a lasting impression on the audience.
