SCHRIFTbilder by Heidrun Edelsbacher - Exhibition in the Stiegenhausgalerie

What's it about?

Exhibition of Schriftbilder (calligraphic images) by Heidrun Edelsbacher in the Stiegenhausgalerie of the Buchbinderei Fuchs. Like a mantra, the words repeat, building an energy field, merging with the handmade Nepalese paper to form a complete artwork. The carefully chosen messages, poems, and wishes are handwritten into an optically perfect circle—circle shapes that have long fascinated the artist. "a line is a dot that went for a walk" – Paul Klee... Watching a dot set out on its journey is something deeply meditative and always exciting to see what it becomes. Each piece is a very special unique item—intended for special people and occasions—and is professionally and stylishly framed by the 'DalaiRahmer-Team' of Buchbinderei Fuchs.
