NPHT: Krimml Waterfalls - Austria's Highest Waterfalls

What's it about?

Experience Austria's highest waterfalls on a guided ranger tour! Our tour begins at the Krimml Tourist Office, where you will be greeted by an experienced ranger. The hike leads along the historic ascent on the left side of the waterfalls. During the ascent, you will enjoy breathtaking views and learn interesting facts about the historic trade route as well as the flora and fauna of the region. After you have overcome all the cascades and a total drop of 385m, the entrance to the Krimmler Achental opens up. Here you can decide whether you want to hike a bit further into the Krimmler Achental, or return to the starting point with the ranger. This route offers further spectacular views and photo opportunities.
