Bergtour Kröndlhorn

What's it about?

Mountain tour KRÖNDLHORN (July 2 / July 16 / July 30 / August 13 / August 27 / September 10 / September 24 / October 8) Today we will take the transfer into the Nadernachtal valley up to the Watschalm. There, we shoulder our backpacks and follow the leisurely path to the Hochalm. From there, we go over lush alpine meadows following the hiking trail uphill. Before reaching the summit, we cross a small gorge (the trail goes through a stone field) and then reach our destination - the Kröndlhorn, located at 2,444 meters altitude. Meeting points: 9:00 AM Tourism Office Wald, 9:20 AM Verkehrsverein Königsleiten, 9:30 AM Ronach - Total walking time approx. 4.5 hours Registration: By the day before at 5:00 PM at the tourism office, Tel. 06565 8243 Cost: €5 per person for transfer, hiking guide with GK free of charge - ride with the hiking bus to/from Watschalm. Difficulty: Moderate Return: Around 5:00 PM - 700 meters elevation gain
