Hike to the Wildalm

What's it about?

WILDALM (July 13 to September 7 - from the National Park program) This tour leads along cycling and forest paths up to the "shady side" of Neukirchen. The National Park ranger shares interesting facts about the forest and the original state of the valley. At approx. 1,700 m we reach the Wildalm (located between the Habach Valley and the Untersulzbach Valley) - the terrain opens up and we look down into the Salzach Valley. The alm has been managed by an association for a few years, a new concept on a traditional alm. Meeting point: 9:00 AM at the Sportplatz Neukirchen (train station) parking lot Duration: approx. 7.5 hrs / pure walking time 6 hrs - approx. 13 km Registration: Until 5:00 PM the day before at: npht.at/touren Cost: free with guest card, otherwise adults 22,-- Requirements: Medium approx. 850 meters in altitude
