From there, an idyllic forest path leads through a shady spruce forest to the Krimmler Wasserfall. Afterwards, a unique forest path with numerous stone steps goes uphill for about 350 vertical meters. Again and again, impressive views of the roaring masses of water of the waterfall open up. During a leisurely stop at Alpengasthof Schönangerl, we strengthen ourselves with regional Pinzgauer delicacies before continuing our hike to the lowest section of the waterfall.
