To the Realm of Flowers at Kolmhaus

What's it about?

From Gasthof Thanner, we hike through the Brandberger meadows and then along the picturesque Bergmähderweg to the Kolmhaus (1,845m). There, a colorful display of flowers and a true butterfly paradise awaits us, which has been intensively studied by researchers in recent years. The Kolmhaus is a rustic mountain hut at the entrance to a high valley, above which the mighty Brandberger Kolm towers. During an extensive break, we enjoy the view of the Tux and Zillertal Alps. Afterwards, we walk along the shady forest path back to the sunny village of Brandberg.
