Kalser Tauern Hike with Hiking Guide

What's it about?

Hiking in the footsteps of pack animals from Salzburg to East Tyrol! A bus will take you from Uttendorf along the Panorama Road 'Stubachtal' to Enzingerboden (1,480 m). From there, you will take the Weißsee Glacier Railway to Rudolfshütte and continue with the double chairlift 'Medelz' to the Kalser Tauern on the main Alpine ridge at 2,518 meters altitude. On foot, you will then ascend to the Kalser Törl and continue over the so-called 'Erdige Eck' down to Dorfer See and downstream to Kalser Tauernhaus (1,755 m). The route continues over beautiful alpine meadows, past Daberklamm gorge, and finally to Gasthof Taurerwirt (1,480 m) above Kals. From there, our bus will bring you back to Uttendorf — arrival around 6:00 PM.
