Kalser Tauern Hike with Hiking Guide

What's it about?

Hiking in the footsteps of the drovers from Salzburg to East Tyrol!A bus takes you from Uttendorf on the "Stubachtal" panoramic road to Enzingerboden (1,480 m). From there, you take the Weißsee Gletscherbahn to Rudolfshütte and then the "Medelz" double chairlift to Kalser Tauern on the main Alpine ridge at an altitude of 2,518 m. You then descend on foot to Kalser Törl and further via the so-called "Erdige Eck" to Dorfer See and out of the valley to Kalser Tauernhaus (1,755 m). The route continues over beautiful alpine pastures, past the Daberklamm gorge and finally to Gasthof Taurerwirt (1,480 m) above Kals.
