Staumauerführung am Mooserboden

What's it about?

Experience the myth of Kaprun and get a unique behind-the-scenes look at hydropower. Together with a guide, you will explore the impressive mountain landscape around the Mooserboden reservoir and the interior of the 107-meter-high Mooser Dam. During the one-hour tour, you will learn exciting details about the history, construction, and technology of Austria's most important power plant. Tip: Visit the free exhibition "Erlebniswelt Strom" (Power World) right after the tour. With original exhibits, documents, and photographs, it is the perfect complement to the guided tour. Dates: Daily from 10:00 AM to 3:15 PM, at regular intervals Duration: approximately 1 hour Prices: Adults €12 - Children up to 15 years €8. Excludes transfer to the Kaprun high mountain reservoirs. Tickets: Available at the Kesselfall ticket office and at the Mooserboden info kiosk.
