Dam tour at Mooserboden
What's it about?
Experience the myth of Kaprun and take a unique look behind the scenes of hydropower. Together with a guide, you will discover the impressive mountain world around the Mooserboden reservoir and the interior of the 107 m high Mooser dam. During the one-hour tour, you will learn exciting details about the history, construction and technology of Austria's most important power plant. Tip: Visit the free exhibition "Erlebniswelt Strom" directly at the end of the tour. With original exhibits, documents and photographs, it is the ideal complement to the guided tour. Dates: Daily from 10:00 to 15:15, at regular intervals Duration: approx. 1 hour Prices: Adults € 12 - Children up to 15 years € 8Excl. transfer to the Kaprun high mountain reservoirs Tickets: Available at the Kesselfall ticket office and at the Mooserboden Kiosk Infopoint.
