On Heritage Day, the doors of historical objects that are otherwise not or only partially accessible open. Visitors can discover monuments throughout Austria with free admission. Monuments have a social, cultural, ecological, and economic value. On this day, the diversity and distinctiveness of cultural heritage become visible, experienceable, and accessible. Heritage Day in Kaprun: 09:00 - 12:00: POWER PLANT - Guided tours of the main stage power plant and the new exhibition. 10:00 - 15:00: KIRCHBICHL - Historical tours on Kirchbichl and through the listed buildings. 14:00 - 17:00: BURG KAPRUN - Guided tours of Kaprun Castle, whose origins date back to the 12th century.
