Guided Hike: Rauchkögerl

What's it about?

After the taxi ride to Huberalm, the hike starts towards Drei Waller Chapel, an ancient pilgrimage site. This is located on a pass at 1,425 m and offers a unique view into the Gastein Valley. The further ascent to the Rauchkögerl (1,810 m) is very worthwhile - the view into the extensive Salzach Valley is impressive. The summit cross invites you to linger with the magnificent view. The descent follows a trail to Kögerlalm where a stop for refreshments is also planned. From Huberalm, the taxi will take you back to Dorfgastein. End of the hike approx. 3:00 PM. Participation in the guided hikes is free with the Gastein Card! Bus and taxi transfer costs ( 6,- per person) and consumption are to be paid extra.
