Ö3 GASTEIN SOUNDS 2026 Valley station Schlossalmbahn | Bad Hofgastein After a successful premiere with around 10,000 visitors, Ö3 GASTEIN SOUNDS goes into its second round in December 2026. The new ski opening in Bad Hofgastein combines winter sports, an alpine backdrop and top-class live music - and already attracted nationwide attention at its first edition with acts such as CRO, SKI AGGU, IKKIMEL, SDP and FRITTENBUDE. Concerts, among others, at around 2,000 meters above sea level, exuberant party atmosphere and a varied line-up made the premiere in December 2025 a special start to the winter season. 2026 will now add more: With PIZZERA & JAUS, FOLKSHILFE, PAUL KALKBRENNER and KARL, Austrian dialect music, indie, Austropop and Berlin techno meet the unique backdrop of the Gastein Valley. PIZZERA & JAUS and FOLKSHILFE provide a special highlight: two of the most influential voices in local dialect music are joining forces, creating a musical event of rare intensity. Pizzera & Jaus and folkshilfe are touring together and bringing dialect music to the stage that touches both heart and mind. United in the honesty of their art, the two exceptional bands create a sound that combines tradition and present with humor, depth and passion. The line-up on the first evening is completed by KARL from Vienna. The 26-year-old artist combines Viennese charm, indie guitars and the emotional world of Austropop into a raw and immediate sound. Between long nights, fleeting encounters and the small stories of life, he tells with a distinctive voice of a generation between melancholy and euphoria. On Saturday, PAUL KALKBRENNER, an international superstar of electronic music, will come to Bad Hofgastein. From the Berlin underground, the producer and live act has developed into one of the most famous names in the techno scene. With hits like "Sky & Sand", his leading role in "Berlin Calling" and spectacular festival and arena shows, Kalkbrenner has long since achieved cult status. Ö3 GASTEIN SOUNDS 2026 thus once again brings music, winter sports and an alpine atmosphere together and makes Bad Hofgastein a meeting point for everyone who wants to combine their winter start with a special live experience.
