Large Harvest Festival Parade in Bad Hofgastein
What's it about?
On the big day, they line up before the festive parade starts through the town center. With lots of music, it passes hundreds of onlookers who admire the goings-on from the roadside. And there really is a lot to see. The farmers depict old, traditional crafts on the wagons. The women present their handiwork and noble spirits are tasted at the schnapps distiller. At the end of the day, there is a big harvest festival with celebrations and dancing. The Harvest Festival Parade takes place every two years, alternating between the towns of Bad Hofgastein and Bad Gastein.
