BERG-GESUND Mountain Tour to Saukarkopf (Variant with Via Ferrata)

What's it about?

From the Aktiv-Treffpunkt at the Bergbahnen car park in Großarl, take the hiking taxi to the Vorderstadluck farm. From there, the route leads via the Röschenbergalm to the Saukaralm. From here, continue via the "Bella Cascinaia = Schöne Sennerin" via ferrata (difficulty C/D) to the Saukarkopf. Of course, the summit can also be reached via the normal hiking trail. The descent goes via the Gerstreitalm and then on to the Vorderstadluck farm. If you still have the energy, you can also walk the last part to the starting point (Aktiv-Treffpunkt).
