Guided Tour of Burg Finstergrün

What's it about?

Join us on an adventurous journey back in time and learn many exciting details about the medieval castle. During our approximately one-hour tour, you will hear interesting information about the old Burg Finstergrün from the knightly era, about the new "gräfliche Burg" (count's castle) of the Szápáry family, and about the current children and youth castle. There is also plenty for children to discover, and with a bit of luck, our castle ghost, the "Finsterling," might even reveal his favorite spots to them... Castle tours are available at the following times: July to August daily tours at 2:30 PM From May to June and September to early October: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays at 2:30 PM The sweet room (Naschkammer) is open at the following times: June to July 5: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays from 1 PM to 6 PM July 6 to August 31 daily from 1 PM to 6 PM For hotel guests daily from 1 PM to 2 PM and from 5 PM to 6 PM Fairy tale & legend tours: available on request for groups of 8 or more.
