What's it about?

Join us on an adventurous journey back in time and learn many exciting details about the medieval castle. During our approximately one-hour guided tour, you will hear interesting information about the old Finstergrün Castle from the knight era, about the new 'gräfliche Burg' (count's castle) of the Szápáry family, and about the current children and youth castle. There is also plenty for children to discover, and with a bit of luck, our castle ghost, the 'Finsterling', might even reveal his favorite spots... Guided tours are available at the following times: July to August daily tours at 2:30 PM; from May to June and September to early October: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays at 2:30 PM. The sweet room is open at these times: June to July 5th, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays from 1-6 PM; July 6th to August 31st daily from 1-6 PM for house guests daily from 1-2 PM and from 5-6 PM. Fairy tale and legend tours: available upon request, bookable from 8 persons.
