What's it about?

The Wasserscheibenschießen at Prebersee is unique worldwide because it involves shooting not at the disc itself, but at its reflection in the water, and the pellet then hopefully jumps into the disc. The distance is 120 meters, and only lead ammunition is used. The origin of this shooting method is unknown, but it has been documented since 1832. Incidentally, one of the most common aiming errors occurs when the target is reversed in the mirror image. If a shot is indicated as too high, the shooter must aim even higher, and vice versa.
