What's it about?

The classic Preberlauf begins at the 1st Gatter, just a few meters above Ludlalm (1514m). The first few meters are on the forest road, then we switch to the direct ascent track in the forest. As the forest begins to open up, we reach the Prodingerhütte (1734m). This is also the start area for the Mini-Preberlauf. Shortly after, we see the Preber-Halterhütte (1862m), where a refreshment station awaits us. Immediately after the Halterhütte, the distinctive Preber flank begins. This flank extends over approximately 900 meters of elevation and leads directly to the summit slope. From there, only a few meters remain to reach the goal at the Prebergipfel (2741m). Mini-Preberlauf: The Mini-Preberlauf starts at the Prodingerhütte (1734m). The route goes over a prepared forest road to the finish at the Preber-Halterhütte (1862m).
