Workshop: Winter Solstice

What's it about?

Course description Together, we welcome the newly emerging light in the longest night of the year. Light rituals invite us to rest, retreat, and reflect. The Julfest (Yule festival) accompanies the magical time of the Rauhnächte (twelfth nights). Evergreens symbolize the return of sunlight and warmth during the cold season. The winter solstice fire offers us the opportunity for smudging rituals with herbs and woody plants, storytelling of mystical stories and legends.
