Advent Market at Mauterndorf Castle

What's it about?

The Christmas season is also celebrated with special festivity in the southernmost region of Salzburg. Visitors to the Advent Market at Mauterndorf Castle can look forward to a variety of traditional craftsmanship from regional vendors: handmade pottery and clay products, extraordinary jewelry designs, handcrafted items, and much more. For gourmets, the Advent Market offers plenty of regional delicacies and warming drinks: from hearty bacon bread and Lungau sausages to fine Christmas baked goods, as well as punch and mulled wine. The festive, fairy-tale atmosphere is enhanced by musical entertainment with wind instruments, bands, and singers. Not least, for the little visitors, craft programs, reading corners, and cookie baking in the rock cellar are absolute highlights! Opening hours The Advent Market at Mauterndorf Castle...
