The Night of 1000 Lights - When a Single Light Turns into a Sea of Lights

What's it about?

On the evening of October 31st, numerous churches and chapels will once again shine in candlelight: thousands of lights aim to prepare us for the All Saints' Day celebration. Many projects invite people to immerse themselves in a special atmosphere. For All Saints' Day, we remember not only the well-known saints but also the 'everyday saints,' those who do good in secret and thus make the world brighter. The glow of lights during the Night of 1000 Lights indicates that the 'holy' also exists in our own lives and is just waiting to be discovered. The Night of 1000 Lights is a project by and for young people. When young people are involved in the planning from the beginning, it adds great value: the night becomes their night. The youth can let their creativity run free, as there are no set guidelines.
