What's it about?

The music week offers young people and adults the opportunity to further develop their musical skills under the guidance of qualified instructors. The diversity of folk culture is shaped in the community through shared music-making, singing, and dancing. Games and sports activities are pillars for togetherness.Old and young sing and make music together for a week every year in Mauterndorf. Living legends and young musicians - year after year they come to the Salzburger Lungau to play music, dance, and sing together. In the inns of the small Lungau village, over a hundred participants gather to be taught by outstanding musicians from across the Alpine region. From early to late, music is made, danced, and laughed.
