Skiopening - DIE FANTASTISCHEN VIER

What's it about?

Pioneers, legends, icons – and for the season opener in Obertauern: the Skiopening Week 2026 begins with one of the most significant acts in German music history, opening the winter season 26/27. Die Fantastischen Vier – Smudo, Thomas D, Michi Beck, and And.Ypsilon – have been the flagship of German-language hip-hop for over three decades and will perform in Obertauern on November 28, 2026. In 1991, the Stuttgart-based group released 'Jetzt Geht’s Ab', the first German-language hip-hop album – laying the foundation for an entire genre. A year later, 'Die da!?!?' followed, the first German-language rap track to storm the top ten of the charts and receive continuous radio play. What followed is music history: hits like 'MFG', 'Troy', 'Sie ist weg', 'Tag am Meer', and 'Zusammen' became the soundtracks of entire generations. After more than four decades, over a thousand concerts, and countless chart-toppers, Die Fantastischen Vier are still the same four original members, who have significantly shaped hip-hop in Germany.
