
Flavia Coste seems to have a sixth sense for theatrical escalations, because the play is not even ten minutes old when the audience is already caught in the net she has laid out in her captivating debut as a playwright, with no chance of escaping. "No to Money!" tells the story of Richard, who wants to commit a demonstrative heroic deed and says "No to Money" after winning 162 million euros in the lottery. His wife Claire, his mother Rose, and Etienne, his best friend and business partner, don't find that funny at all. But for the audience, it will be great fun! As is usual with street theater, it is staged by Georg Clementi with a lot of verve and music and this year courageously performed by Ferdinand Kopeinig, Ildiko Babos, Alex Linse, Daniela Enzi, Eric Lebeau and Charlotte Steidl.
