Kino im Saal: 25. Filmfestival Radstadt

What's it about?

25th Heimat: Filmfestival Radstadt Radstadt, the center for film culture in Pongau, presents current Heimat films, international premieres, local film events, and cinematic special features. From November 4th to 8th, Radstadt in the 'Old Town in the Mountains' will once again be all about film. Over five festival days, international and national feature, documentary, and short films invite audiences to approach the ever-relevant theme of Heimat from different perspectives and to engage with it. "With our current film program, we are embarking on a journey to countries, regions, and people whose ways of life are turned upside down, whose questions need urgent answers, and whose memories want to be shared with us," says Elisabeth Schneider, the festival director. The world is in turmoil, wherever you look, these are challenging times. And yet, it is precisely these times that teach us to be tolerant, supportive, attentive, and empathetic.
